Tim Burchard: Favorite Moments on the PTT:
During the Post Traumatic Tour, I had the opportunity of attending 2 shows, as well as a meet and greet with Mike. The first experience being the meet and greet, I'll start with that. One of my favorite moments was walking in the building and looking over and seeing Mike literally right there in front of me. Was very surreal. Furthermore, going up to him and just being in awe. I'd never met a celebrity before, let alone someone I've grown up listening to and idolizing since I was a baby. Most of these favorite moments have to do with first experiences... Another one of my favorite moments, was the first show I went to in Camden NJ, and just the feeling I got when I heard the Welcome Intro cue, and thinking like, "Holy shit this is happening." (I'd also never been to any LP concert or any major concert in general) and seeing Mike come out on stage, that was very cool. Another favorite moment from that show would have to be meeting another soldier Jane, it was really cool to meet someone who's just as big of a fan as I am, and have some good conversations. Moving on to the second show, was seeing how close I was to Mike, I was about 5-6 rows of people back in the pit section, dead center to the stage, that gave me a really good view. All time favorite moment from the whole thing was when Mike came down into the pit during RFMS bridge and I pushed myself forward and got right up close to him, and held onto his arm. Just that rush of a whole bunch of people crowded into one area, all singing and rocking out with Mike freaking Shinoda right in front of our faces. Little side note, I was completely surprised after RMFS when Don Broco came back out of nowhere with Mike to tour debut A Place For My Head. Was a nice surprise and a great way to end an already spectacular show.
